Lent 2025 - Start Anew in Christ

A REFLECTION PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP USE FOR LENT 2025

Archdiocesan Ministries has developed a new Lenten reflection resource for the 2025 Jubilee Year, “Pilgrims of Hope”, called Start Anew in Christ.

This resource is designed with both individuals and groups in mind, offering simple, easy-to-follow prompts for small group leaders to use each Sunday during Lent. Each weekday includes a short scripture text, a reflection upon it, as well as some thoughts to provoke prayer and discussion.

Start Anew in Christ has been written by our guest writer, Fr. Michael Grace. Fr. Michael is a priest of the Archdiocese of Brisbane and currently serves as the Parish Priest of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, Hendra, and as the Administrator of St Agatha’s Parish, Clayfield. He completed his seminary studies at Holy Spirit Seminary and was ordained in 2009. He later obtained a Licence in Sacred Theology from the Gregorian University in Rome, specialising in Spirituality and Vocational Formation.
